The first release is Town Branch 15-Year Bottled-in-Bond Kentucky Single Malt Whiskey Archive Series Vol. 1 is the oldest Bottled-in-Bond American Single Malt Whiskey ever made. It will be available at Town Branch Distillery and in select states across the U.S. at a suggested retail price of $399.99 for a 750ml bottle. Only 108 bottles are available.
A limited quantity of single malt whiskey barrels, made from 100% malted barley and distilled in a single season by a single distiller, were commissioned in 2009 by Town Branch Distillery's visionary creator, Dr. Pearse Lyons. These unique barrels, which feature some of the oldest American single malt whisky in the world, were hand-picked to create the Town Branch Archive Series.
Beginning in 2024 and lasting until 2030, each yearly release pays tribute to the Lyons family's long history of cooperage, distillation, and brewing. Bottled-in-Bond, 100 Proof, Non-Chill Filtered, Single Barrel, each bottle is a unique experience that reflects years of skillful production.

Our team chose Barrel Serial Number 222, filled on July 2, 2009 (lot date 09G02), to symbolize the first 15-Year-Old release as Archive Series Vol 1 after sampling every barrel assigned to the project in late July 2024, their 15th birthday.
This barrel, which has a rich, powerful taste profile accentuated by prolonged age in old Kentucky bourbon barrels, represents the ideal balance between American whisky and single malt whisky. We're thrilled to offer this historic series of single malt whiskey releases over the next few years, and it's the perfect place to start.
A collector's coin created to honor the Archive Series is included with every release. These tokens provide exclusive access to your distillery experience, making them more than simply mementos. You are a valued member of our family and are entitled to limitless free excursions for the rest of your life as a coin holder.

About Lexington Brewing Co.
The Lexington Brewing Co.'s first phase started in the 1890s and ended with Prohibition. In the decades that followed, ownership changed many times. The brewery was a run-down remnant of its former glory by the time Pearse Lyons and his son Mark visited it in 1999. But as an entrepreneur and visionary, Pearse only saw what was possible. Pearse revitalized Lexington Brewing Co. and resurrected a craft beer heritage that stretches back to the 1700s, driven by a love of brewing and distilling that runs through the Lyons family lineage of Irish coopers.
Pearse kept his dreams broad as he focused on distilling, which was a logical next step considering his experience in fermentation, his family's history, and Kentucky's bourbon customs. In 2008, two copper pot stills were delivered to Lexington Brewing Co. from Scotland after being commissioned. In late September 2012, as fall was starting to settle in, the first new distillery to be constructed in Lexington, Kentucky, in almost a century was inaugurated with the cutting of the ribbon at Town Branch Distillery, across from Lexington Brewing Co. Today, those shining copper pot stills exist as a tribute to enduring customs and audacious ideas.
