Composed of 51% corn, 45% wheat, and 4% malted barley, this bourbon offers a silky mouthfeel and a subtle sweetness, thanks to the wheat. The bourbon’s distinctive flavors are further enhanced by Buzzard’s Roost’s secondary maturation process, which involves Char #1 barrels with proprietary toast levels designed to bring out the best from the oak.
In compliance with the Bottled in Bond Act of 1897, this bourbon was distilled in Lawrenceburg, Indiana in the Fall of 2018. It spent five years aging in a federally bonded warehouse before undergoing secondary maturation at Bardstown Bourbon Company. The bourbon was then bottled in early 2024 at precisely 100 proof.
