Despite being competitors in the whiskey market, the two companies found common ground in their dedication to protecting the planet. They decided to focus on regenerative farming, a method that goes beyond sustainability by actively improving soil health and reversing environmental damage.
A portion of the proceeds from the Regenerate America Bundle will go to Regenerate America, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting regenerative farming as a solution to the water and climate crisis. This aligns with the larger goals of both brands. As Somerhalder put it, the partnership is about more than just selling whiskey—it’s about starting a movement for sustainable change within the spirits industry.
Speakeasy Co.’s Role in the Launch
The logistics behind the bundle’s release are handled by Speakeasy Co., an eCommerce platform specializing in direct-to-consumer alcohol sales. Speakeasy, which already has a strong relationship with WhistlePig, ensures that the bundle is shipped directly to customers' doorsteps while remaining compliant with alcohol distribution laws. The bundle, priced at $190, also includes a Regenerate America hat made from eco-friendly materials.

Brother’s Bond’s contribution, the Regenerative Grain Straight Bourbon Whiskey, is crafted using a blend of 3-year-old and 6-year-old bourbons. Both are made from grains grown using regenerative farming methods near their distillery in North Carolina. WhistlePig’s FarmStock Beyond Bonded Rye is a rye whiskey bottled at 100.1 proof, a playful nod to the “beyond bonded” label. While it adheres to most of the legal standards for bottled-in-bond whiskey, the slight variation in proof underscores WhistlePig’s commitment to pushing boundaries. The whiskey is produced entirely in-house, from grain to glass, using rye grown on WhistlePig’s farm in Vermont. The production process incorporates several eco-friendly measures, such as reducing runoff and converting waste into renewable energy.
