The Original, priced at $30, uses TCWC's premium six-year bourbon whiskey as its base. Meanwhile, the Cherry version, which costs $20, is made with the company's American Cherry Edition, their best selling whiskey. Both cocktails include homemade simple syrup, bitters, and a hint of citrus, providing a balanced and flavorful experience.
Each 375ml bottle contains enough for eight cocktails. These ready-to-serve Old Fashioneds are designed to be enjoyed chilled, either neat or over ice, and can be garnished with a TCWC Premium Cocktail Cherry, which is sold separately.

Chris Fredrickson, Co-founder of TCWC, expressed his enthusiasm for the new products, saying, "An Old Fashioned is one of the original classic bourbon cocktails. Our delicious and convenient ready-to-serve Old Fashioned cocktails are handcrafted and ready to pour. They’re a welcome addition to our portfolio of whiskey offerings."
Traverse City Whiskey Co., known as the "Whiskey of the North," has deep roots in the distilled spirits industry, dating back to the late 1800s. The company sources all its grains—corn, rye, and malted barley—from the Midwest. Led by Fredrickson, the distilling team focuses on quality, drawing inspiration from patented techniques developed by Fredrickson’s great-grandfather during the Prohibition era.
These new Old Fashioned cocktails are available online at tcwhiskey.com, at the Stillhouse in Traverse City, and the Outpost in Ferndale. They are also rolling out across various U.S. markets, including Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin, and Washington DC.

Founded in 2011 by Chris Fredrickson, along with his partners Jared Rapp and Moti Goldring, the company aims to revive the region’s rich heritage of whiskey production while incorporating modern techniques and a commitment to craftsmanship.
One of the distinctive features of Traverse City Whiskey Co. is its focus on using locally sourced ingredients, particularly corn, rye, and barley grown in Michigan. The company prides itself on its grain-to-glass approach, ensuring that every step of the production process, from milling the grains to distilling and aging the whiskey, is meticulously controlled to produce spirits of exceptional quality.
The distillery offers a variety of whiskies, each with its unique flavor profile. The flagship product, Traverse City Straight Bourbon, is crafted using a traditional recipe and aged in new American oak barrels, resulting in a rich, full-bodied spirit with notes of caramel, vanilla, and spice. Another popular expression is the Traverse City American Cherry Edition, which incorporates locally grown cherries, adding a distinct fruity sweetness to the bourbon.
