Fans of Buzzard’s Roost should be happy to hear that Buzzard’s Roost whiskey will now be available in six more states making it easier to get your hands on.
Mad Vines in Alabama and Mississippi, Collier Barnett in California, Johnson Brothers in Iowa, Imperial Beverage in Michigan, and Ruby Wines in New Hampshire are the new states and distributor partners. Buzzard's Roost whiskeys are now available in over half of the nation thanks to these new markets.
Additionally, Johnson Brothers now represents the Buzzard's Roost portfolio in Indiana in an effort to spur market expansion.
Judy Hollis Jones, co-founder and CEO of Buzzard's Roost, attributes the company's success to higher-quality products and greater national brand recognition.
“We earned some exceptional accolades in 2024, including several 95+ ratings from Wine Enthusiast and the title of Best American Craft Rye from the International Whisky Competition. This kind of recognition plus the distinctive flavors that we create from our proprietary double-oaking process has led to great excitement about our whiskeys.” ~Judy Hollis Jones, co-founder and CEO of Buzzard's Roost
Buzzard's Roost has gained recognition since its 2022 launch for the distinctive tastes that emerge in its whiskeys when they undergo secondary aging in barrels with special toast profiles that extract certain notes from the wood.
Buzzard's Roost began manufacturing its own bourbon at its distillery and tasting facility on Louisville's Whiskey Row, adding to its accomplishments from 2024. Their first batch, made by Master Blender Jason Brauner and Lead Distiller Ethan Spalding, will be one year in-barrel in February.
“We have some exciting new releases planned for 2025, while we wait for our new-make bourbons to develop in-barrel. We know our customers love small-batch and single barrel releases, so we keep the pipeline full of interesting new whiskeys.” ~ Master Blender Jason Brauner
