Distilleries Everyone’s Watching for 2025 Releases

While wandering around reddit I discovered this thread discussing "Which distilleries are you giving up in 2025 and which are you looking forward to their new releases?" This article summarizes the main distilleries people want to see more of. Do you have others you want to add?

Green River

"Love their full proof and single barrel." says one reddit user. "More green river! Awesome. Especially hoping for full proof wheated" says another, and this guys says "Green River is very good for the price. I've had the full proof and wheated bourbon." followed by another guy "Green river. Really happy with what I had from them this year.". As you can see - everyone loves Green River and wants more of it. Shop Green River whiskey!

Redwood Empire

Users on reddit love Redwood Empire - "Redwood Empire, I like pretty much everything they are putting out, the only critique is the price is a tad on the higher side." and "Redwood Empire as well. Their Haystack Needle Bourbon is one of my favorites and I can’t wait for it to age." or "So much Redwood Empire love in here makes me happy. Really delicious." Shop Redwood Empire whiskey!

Bardstown Bourbon

"Bardstown, their Origin series was a hit, cant go wrong with any of them for $50." and "Bardstown. Disco #11 is great, the easily found and affordable $50 wheater is a steal at its price point. Far better than most Weller offerings IMO." Another hit from reddit is Bardstown Bourbon - buy it here!

Ben Holladay

"Ben Holladay - Oh man, the Sweet Red Wheat Rickhouse Proof just hits right for me, and what a deal! I look forward to everything I can try from them." Shop Ben Holladay whiskey!

Frey Ranch

"Frey Ranch - They just do everything right and I'm a big fan. I want to try anything I can get my hands on. Unfortunately, it's no longer a West Coast little secret, so special release stuff is getting tough to find." Get out there and find some while you can - or buy it online here!

Penelope

While somewhat controversial this one does have a strong following and are for sure doing some interesting things."Penelope: The Havana is what I have my sights on for 2025. The Rose, Valencia, and the toasted are really good expressions of MGP. I’m becoming a fan boy." If you haven't tried any of their stuff - grab a bottle today!
