Exceptional Bottled In Bond Whiskeys

Exceptional Bottled In Bond Whiskeys

Bottled in Bond whiskeys are a hallmark of quality and tradition, governed by the Bottled in Bond Act of 1897. This designation ensures the whiskey meets strict standards: it must be the product of a single distillation season, crafted by one distiller at one distillery, aged at least four years in a federally bonded warehouse, and bottled at exactly 100 proof (50% ABV). These regulations were originally implemented to protect consumers from adulterated spirits, offering a guarantee of authenticity and consistency. Bottled in Bond whiskeys remain highly regarded for their robust flavor profiles and historical significance in American whiskey production.
