The Wild Turkey Collection

The Wild Turkey Collection

Wild Turkey is one of the most popular bourbon brands in America and for good reason, it produces some of the best bourbons around. For over 75 years, Wild Turkey has been making whiskey at the top of Wild Turkey Hill in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. It’s where spirited tradition and devotion to the craft come together to yield an unparalleled lineup of bourbon and rye. The Wild Turkey distillery proudly occupies a limestone shelf setting along the Kentucky River, enabling them to use high-quality Kentucky water directly from the source. As they say, location is everything. In order to improve the depth of flavor in the final product, the grains are cooked in this step using non-acidic, limestone-filtered water that is naturally purified of iron by the limestone. A fresh fermentation process begins by adding sour mash, which is a previously fermented mash that still contains living yeast, after the malted barley has been added. Hopefully this gives you a bit of background into the Wild Turkey process. Additionaly Russel's Reserve 15 while not a core product is produced by Wild Turkey is said to be the best bottle of 2024. With that let's dive into to Wild Turkey's core line up as well of some special editions.

Wild Turkey Generations Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

A blend of bourbons aged 9, 12, 14, and 15 years that are beautifully combined to provide a unique whiskey with layers of flavor. To bring forth the best character in every drink, Wild Turkey Generations is non-chill filtered and bottled at barrel proof (120.8 percent). For the first time, three generations of the Russell family have worked together on a single whiskey, Wild Turkey Generations, which honors the family's extraordinary heritage by fusing a fascinating past with an inspiring present. This bourbon, which combines the more than 100 years of combined knowledge of Wild Turkey Master Distillers Jimmy Russell, Eddie Russell, and Associate Blender Bruce Russell, is a combination of carefully chosen casks that suits each of their individual preferences. Bruce chose a 12-year bourbon for the mix because, like his grandpa Himmy, he enjoys strong whiskey tastes. Eddie prefers older bourbon, like his 15-year-old selection and the 14-year-old whiskey he and Bruce selected together, which tend to have a softer, honeyed, vanilla-laden flavor. Jimmy chose a nine-year-old bourbon that matched the traditional Wild Turkey character, staying loyal to his taste as he had for decades. Buy it now!
